EXCELLENT Based on 72 reviews Posted on Google Jasvir Virdi I have recently visited Marx Ayur Walsall, i first had a consultation with Dr Athira, explained everything which was really good and no idea what my body was saying as im going through menopause. After the consultation I brought the Ayurveda Nabhi vasthi treatment. What a lovely experience, full body massage, Naval oiling and the steam bath. I was booked with Jyothi and who is very friendly, makes you feel very comfortable, she also explained what she would be doing. The whole team made me feel very welcome and at all times Dr Athira kept asking me how I was feeling and how the treatment was going. Since my treatment has finished I have been going back and I can say that cause of the whole experience I have decided to continue with Dr Athira.Posted on Google Aroosa A I had an absolutely wonderful experience and can’t recommend this place enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. The massage itself was incredible - truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Jyoti and Reshma were both fantastic. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out, and they made sure I was comfortable throughout. They clearly know exactly what they’re doing and delivered an experience that was both relaxing and rejuvenating. I also want to give a special mention to Dr Athira, who was so thoughtful and attentive. She really took the time to understand my needs and made sure everything was tailored perfectly. That level of care made a huge difference. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend!Posted on Google Sukhwinder Singh Amazing experience, very well trained staff. I was attended by Subish , i would say he’s well experienced and trained in ayurvedic massage treatment. 100% recommended for relaxed mind and body.Posted on Google Steven Stanton Excellent massage and treatment, if you wanted an authentic Ayurvedic massage this is the place.Posted on Google Jass Bains Dr athira and Jyoti both are vey nice and helpful treats very nicelyPosted on Google Humera Mir This is my 4th time I went to this massage centre and it has been a wonderful experience from start to finish, their service has always been excellent. I would definitely recommend them again. Thank you Dr Athira & Jyoti :)Posted on Google bethany radley This place is well worth a visit! It's an authentic and friendly experience and I reckon the best massage you'll get around the midlands. Ayurvedic massage is better if you prefer a stronger deep tissue massage , it felt very holistic and professional. We would highly recommend plus its great value for money too. Thank you!Posted on Google Jasbir Kataria I enjoyed my facial very much also my lymphatic massage will book more treatmentsPosted on Google Bindu Shah I highly recommend Marx Ayur. The staff are very experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. My first treatment started with a consultation with Dr Athira, followed by a massage by Jyoti. It was amazing, Jyoti knew exactly where the tightness was without me saying. Following Dr Athira’s advice I had a series of Janu Vasti sessions for my knee pain (both knees) which has been ongoing for over 1 year. After the 3rd session I felt a huge difference. I am glad to have found a natural treatment that has really reduced my knee pain. Thank you all at Marx Ayur 🙏
Medicated oil applied with steady pressure brings the body into a genuinely settled state, and that effect mostly lingers for hours after the session ends.
Heated bundles filled with Ayurvedic herbs are worked into the body. The heat opens the skin, and over time the herbs begin to influence deeper tissues.
It often does. The oil penetrates gradually, and the repetitive strokes help loosen areas that have been tight for a long time. Relief builds across sessions rather than appearing instantly.
A Panchakarma retreat in the UK is a highly systematic process that cleanses your body and soul. There are several steps involved in the process like preliminary oil treatments, followed by specific elimination procedures like vamanam and virechanam assisted by vasti. The process is known to eliminate toxins and improve metabolic functions.
It depends entirely on which treatment, at which stage and how it is delivered. Massage during pregnancy at our centre is always preceded by an Ayurvedic consultation so nothing is guessed. We adapt the oils, pressure and technique to wherever the mother is in her pregnancy.
Not all of them. Walsall carries the full range including the panchakarma retreat programme. Other locations may have a slightly different offering. You can check directly with the relevant centre before booking a specific Ayurvedic treatment.
Between 45 and 60 minutes in the room, though the preparatory steps and the rest time after matter just as much as the pour itself. Rushing out immediately after works against the whole point of the therapy.
Yes. Our Walsall centre has qualified Ayurvedic doctors on site. They will assess your constitution properly before any treatment is recommended, whether that is a single session or a full panchakarma retreat.
